What does an Immerse Monthly plan include?

Your plan will include either group or private lessons, with an experienced online native tutor to fully immerse yourself in English, and putting your listening and speaking practice to the test!

If I buy 'Immerse Group', does that mean I cannot book private lessons?

You CAN book private lessons, even if you purchase an Immerse Group package.

With an Immerse Group package, you will get four lessons in your package, which you can use to book group lessons.

If I buy 'Immerse Private', does that mean I cannot book group lessons?

You CAN book group lessons, even if you purchase an Immerse Private package.

With an Immerse Private package, you will get 8 lessons in your package, which you can use to book private lessons.

How old do I have to be to buy an Immerse Private or Group Package?

At least 16 years of age.


How does the payment work?

It is a one-time payment per plan that you purchase, and you can pay by debit or credit card (VISA, Mastercard etc), Alipay or PayPal.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, of course. We do not want to see you go, but we understand that Immerse English may not be appropriate for you at this time, and you may have many other commitments and subscriptions. To cancel, please get in touch at

Can I have more classes than my subscription gives?

Yes, of course! And we hope that you do.

There is an option to ask for a 'custom package', and we will send you an invoice for a certain amount of lessons. You can choose as many as you want.

Can I have less classes than my subscription provides?

If you require fewer lessons than what the package includes, then it may be worth buying a lesson individually. However, these prices will be more expensive per lesson than the package deals.

Why am I inserting my card details for a free trial?

After the 7 day free trial, you will be charged for the monthly rate of £7 for Immerse Basic. If you cancel before the 7 days, you will not pay anything. You will receive a reminder email 3 days before your payment starts.

English Tutors

Are all the teachers' native speakers?

Yes, all the tutors come from the UK.

How do I know who will be teaching me?

When you book your lesson, you will see the name of the tutor.
In the forum, you will see an introduction video for all of the tutors. As we are a start-up company, the amount of teachers will increase over time, depending on demand.


How do I use my Immerse Discounts?

When booking lessons, on the purchasing page, there will be an option to put in a 'coupon code'. Please put the code in where it says 'Enter a Coupon Code', and click on the '>' button to apply.


What do the one to one lessons include?

The lesson will be on Zoom, and it will be either 30 minutes or 1 hour (if you book two slots next to each other). You will speak one to one with an English native tutor. Following the introduction lesson (which has no cost), you will inform us of your ambitions on why you want to improve your English, and we will create lesson plans for you to make sure you get the most out of Immerse English. We will welcome feedback at any time, and you can change your lesson focus at any point.

What are included in the social lessons?

The lessons will be on Zoom, and it will be 60 minutes. You will speak with an English native tutor, as well as up to nine other students. The lessons will be carefully planned out by your tutor, and a group lesson schedule will be put up on the forum each month so you know which ones you will want to attend. For example, there will be Business English lessons, IELTS lessons, grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening and more...

How do we have lessons?

When you book a lesson, you will receive a Zoom link which you will need to access.

You will need a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a working microphone. You can use any device, but we recommend a computer or laptop for the best service.

How does the schedule work, and how do I book?

As Immerse English is a start-up company, our schedule is only available from 08:00 to 20:00 (GMT) – although we look to expand it to 24/7 as quickly as possible! When you sign up, you will be given the right timetable for your time zone. Here is a quick overview of some possible time zones for your country.

South America – 04:00 to 16:00 (Winter time) 05:00 to 17:00 (summer time)

Mainland Europe – 09:00 to 21:00 (All year)

Eastern Europe, Turkey & Middle East – 10:00 to 23:00 (Summer) 11:00 to 24:00 (Winter)

Asia – Vary from 13:00 to 01:00 to 16:00 to 04:00 depending on country and time of year

You choose to book your lessons at a time that suits you on a day that suits you. The schedule will be open from Monday to Friday, but you can request lessons on a Saturday or Sunday, but these will not be guaranteed.

To book lessons, you click on the 'Book a Lesson' page, and see the times available. You can view your bookings on your member page. Lessons are allocated on first come first served basis, but we will manage the lessons so everyone can get a fair time.

Social lessons will be arranged for one lesson a day, where everyone around the world will be able to attend.

How do the lessons work?

First of all, before you make any payment or start an Immerse Monthly plan, we recommend that you should have a FREE introduction lesson. In this lesson, you will introduce yourself, and let us know of your ambitions;

  • Are you preparing for IELTS?
  • Do you need to improve English for travelling?
  • Are you moving to another country?
  • Will you be working or studying in another country?
  • Do you want to meet other English language learners to improve your English fluency?
  • Do you need help with any academic work?
  • Do you want to learn English in a more fun and productive way?
  • Are you interested in meeting up with other students around the world to practice speaking English?
  • And more. Tell us why you want to join!

Then, once you are happy to join Immerse English, the lessons will vary depending on what you require.

Our native tutors will create lessons to suit you, and practice on what you need help with. Whether you just want conversations, want to improve on aspects of English, or if you want to focus on a specific subject – we can help you. Our tutors are CELTA qualified, and have experienced teaching online in private sessions and in groups. You will be in good hands, and you will not be disappointed with your experience.

To help us, you can write a message to your tutor requesting a specific type of lesson. If not, your tutor will have something planned regardless.

What if I cannot attend my lesson?

You can cancel your lesson up to 12 hours before its starting time, and can reschedule the lesson to any convenient time that suits you. However, if you cancel within that time frame, you will unfortunately miss out on the lesson.

What if my tutor cannot attend the lesson?

You will be informed in advance if your tutor is ill or cannot make it due to any unforeseen circumstances. Also, you will be offered a lesson at another time that suits you, or refund for that lesson.

Personal Ability

I am too nervous for group classes; do I have to take them?

Group classes are not compulsory. Immerse Private allows you to have just one to one lessons. However, we would make sure that all students feel comfortable on the social lessons and you will improve confidence substantially if you choose to take them.

Our advice is to not be scared, and we will promise that you will enjoy them!

Is my English good enough to join Immerse English?

We welcome English students of all levels and abilities. After an introduction lesson, then we will provide you guidance on whether you shouldn't take certain social lessons, but you will also be able to have private lessons.


Can you help me with IELTS?

Yes, our tutors will be able to prepare you for all aspects of IELTS, whether it is reading, writing, listening or speaking. We can give you feedback on how to improve your score, and can go through mock tests with you (ideally in a one to one lesson) to enhance your experience.

You can also use Private Tutor Assistance, where you send your written work to us, and we can correct/mark it for you.

Can you correct my resume/CV?

Yes, that is not a problem. We can give you written feedback on any Immerse Monthly Plan, or we can discuss the resume/CV in a one to one lesson.

What is the age limit?

For social lessons, our only age group is 16+ (adults). For private lessons, our tutors are able to teach any age.

It says you sent me an email, but I cannot see it?

Once you have paid for lessons, or plans, or signed up, you should receive emails from us.
If you haven't received an email, please check your spam/junk folders on your email client.

To avoid this from happening in the future, add us to your safe senders list.

Is Immerse English for me?

Private Tutor Assistance

What does the private tutor assistance include?

If you have an Immerse Basic subscription, you can use our private tutor assistance. Our tutors will provide expert feedback on the following;

  • Presentations

  • CV’s

  • Academic writing

  • IELTS written answers

  • Business Emails

  • ….and so much more!

We will proofread, and provide corrections and suggestions to improve your work.

How many times can I use the Private Tutor Assistance?

You can only submit one piece of work at a time. Once you have a received our feedback, you must wait one day before sending another request.

If your work is less than 300 words, you will receive feedback in less than 48 hours.

If it is 300+, then you will receive feedback in less than 72 hours.

Immerse Children

What materials do you use for children?

We use a wide range of materials for children, and it will vary depending on the the student themselves. For younger learners, using visuals, images, phonics books, songs and videos will aid the learning, and increase the enjoyment. For older children, we use a wide range of picture books and exercise books, including National Geographic. No matter where your child is on the journey, we will find a curriculum suitable for them. We will try to find the right mixture of providing engaging lessons that are as informative as fun so your child will love to learn English.

What is the age limit for Immerse Children?

The maximum limit is 16 years old.
